29-30 MAY!!SEC 3 EL ORAL CAMP!!!29 MAY..
report to school at 830am..
go through some briefing then THE day has started~~
Theres 5 GRPS: Citrine(my grp) , Garnet, Emerald, Amethyst, Moonstone..
Lets focus on wherr my grp go.. (but first.. feel so sad tt martin had high fever)
The 1st station : Poetry Workshop
This station is taken by Ms Rina and Ms Kaur..
This station as u can see from the name.. is all bout poetry..
I learnt about H3..
u may be thinking bout wads H3.. well..
its HEART, HEAD, HAND..
Heart>Expression - get in touch with your feelings..
Head>Interpretation - read in between the lines and make meaning out of the words..
Hand>Dramatize - actions speak louder than words..
i think this is very important because by pratising H3,
your audience will be very attract by you..
Next station (2nd) : Walk through the Gallery
Ms Teo and Mr Gan are found here..
Basically, in this station, you will learn to appreciate pictures of diff genres,
respond to a picture and think creatively on how to compare and contrast 2 diff ideas..
We were asked to pick a picture found in the room..
after which.. we are to pick a item..
we were to compare the 2 of them..
After this two stations,
We had our lunch..
after which.. We meet in the hall..
FOR WHAT??!!
of course.. the teacher is to brief us about the movie we going to watch in WESTMALL:
Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End
Its a 3h and 15mins movie..
After the show, we were dismiss from WESTMALL..
SADLY, Sci and Tech pupils had to go back to school..
FOR WHAT??!!
for sec4 passing out ceremony..
We had buffet dinner provided by school..
Quite boring.. same thing every year..
BLAH BLAH BLAH..
Went home after that.. Around 8+ pm
30 MAY..
as same as yesterday we are expected to report to school by 830am..
The 1st station for today is : Think on your feet
Mrs V and Miss Tan are found here..
This station basically is to let us learn how to give a speech..
There are 3 main components that make up a speech:
- Key Annoucement
- The 3 main points
- Conclusion
Theres also 3 points which you can plan your speech:
-Time
-Location
-Zoom
2nd station for the day: Face off
Mrs Wong and forget what her name derh teacher are found here..
Basically this is a debate between 2 persons..
3rd station for the day: Radio Play
Mr Goh and Ms Ee are found here..
We are to record our speech of a play..
into the comp using a "mike"
we are also needed to add in sound effect by ourselves..
After which, we move to CDANS for a play by Swiss LDSS and the finale of FACE-OFF
The play was very nice..
The finale of FACE-OFF..
quite funny for some parts..
In the end,
GARNET is the CHAMP,
followed by EMERALD,
Citrine,
Amethyst,
and Moonstone..
In conclusion,
This EL oral Camp is quite ok.. (=
but theres still something that make me very fed up..
ARGH.. nvm forget it..
dont wish to think about it..
